"I hunt because I love spending time with family and friends in the deer woods. I love knowing that when I am out in nature that I can relax and enjoy my three days or however long that weekends hunt may be. I also love preparing for the upcoming season and the first hunt of deer season!" - Case Summers
Case's Story
Case is a 15 year-old avid bow-hunter from North Texas who has been hunting since age 3 out of West Texas and most recently added in Kansas as a hunting spot, both are open range. He has been surrounded by experienced hunters and has submerged himself in studying the trade since day one. At age 6 he harvested his first buck with a cross bow - open range. By age 9 he was regularly using a compound bow for his hunts. Not only has he been there for the hunts every year, but quickly realized the hard work and dedication needed for property and game management when hunting open range and has played an integral role when it comes to both at his properties in Texas and Kansas.
Over the years he has placed in multiple competition for his open range harvested bucks with a bow, including the Hunters Extravaganza (2nd Place-'17), (3rd Place - '18), (1st Place - '21 & '22, and '24).
Additionally, he took his love of shooting his bow to competition with indoor and outdoor archery. Winning multiple Outdoor State Championships and placing top 3 at Indoor Nationals, while most recently taking 1st Place at the Hunters Extravaganza Tournament ('22, ‘23) and 3rd Place at Indoor Nationals ('21). He competed in the Matthews 3D Pro-Am in 2024 as well.
Case has also had multiple sponsors and ambassador opportunities for both hunting and competition archery over the years, including: Ozonics(current), Engel Coolers(current),Vanetec (Current), Feradyne Outdoors, Cabela's, Styrka Binoculars, T.R.U. Ball/Axcel Sights, The Block Archery Targets, Xotic Camo & Gear. He was invited on multiple sponsored hunts in both Texas and South Africa as well.
Lastly, he has been featured in the Texas Trophy Hunters Magazine with a story about himself, his father, and grandfather and was recently featured with a two-page article in the Texas Trophy Hunters Magazine in the "Trophy Hunters of Tomorrow" section.
